Jabel's heirloom quality jewelry is hand crafted with careful attention to quality and craftsmanship here in the United States. From the alloying of their gold to the selection of stones and the hand finished treatments each piece receives they create timeless, inspired designs in ways that assure lasting durability and appreciation. Every piece of jewelry made is a combination of precious metal, gemstones, design, and craftsmanship.
The die-striking process, the method which most Jabel components are made, results in much higher density and durability than more common “cast” jewelry that is made in low pressure molds. The cornerstone of the Jabel Method is “PRESSURE”. After alloying their metals in-house, their experienced jewelers begin forming intricate parts using a series of metal forming tools called dies. Fifty tons of pressure is repeatedly applied to the ingot as it is rolled and formed into gold or platinum of higher luster and greater density. Whether an engagement ring, or a fancy diamond bracelet, each Jabel piece can be expected to last for generations to come
Handcrafted in America. Jabel's method of manufacturing, although evolved through modern techniques, is still a process of hand assembly, setting, finishing and polishing. Their highly skilled artisans create the equivalent of original works of art. Each piece is handcrafted requiring as many as 50 separate steps to complete a piece of jewelry. Competing lines, even many nationally advertised brands, are typically fabricated overseas using less expensive casting methods of manufacturing, which can be brittle and show wear.
Established in 1990, a small family business has now grown to be an industry leader. S Kashi & Son's mission is to create the most innovative designs and combine top quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Their timeless pieces are elegant and yet designed to be worn everyday.
GelinAbaci is a company that grew out of a concept held by Gabriel Gelin and Sam Abaci. Together they have a combined total of more than 50 years in the jewelry industry. Abe Gelin (second generation) has helped evolve GelinAbaci through Marketing and Customer Service. Since its inception, GelinAbaci has made a name in the industry as the premier designer of Tension Jewelry in the United States. In keeping with the ever-changing desires of consumers, they continue to add more unique styles to their popular Tension Collection and Amoré Wedding Band Collection.
Tension setting is one of the most attractive ways to display a fine center stone as it allows more light to reflect through it. Each Tension set ring is custom made for a specific stone size and finger size. First invented over 40 years ago, tension rings are certainly in a league of their own. It is highly unlikely for someone to lose a stone in a tension ring, as they are constructed using a spring loading effect from the customized metal choice in which weakening cannot occur. The amount of pressure applied to the center stone is 65 to 95 pounds per millimeter, securing it into place. Diamonds mounted in tension settings are at least as secure as a 4 prong setting. This patented process, ensures the metal retains its 'memory' in maintaining the constant pressure and lasts a lifetime, while allowing a full profile view on your diamond.
