A Jewelry Store You Can Trust
Christie’s is a local, family owned, independent fine jewelry retail store, serving our community, our state, and all of New England for over 25 years. We are the premiere destination for custom design, exclusive bridal jewelry, on-site repair & restoration, and an array of gemological services.
We design and manufacture our own brand of jewelry. We have an ever-changing state of the art showroom featuring Matrix CAD software and 3D printing capabilities. We have an in-house professional design team, gemologist, and goldsmith – all providing unsurpassed personal customer service.
Jim and Sue Malanga opened Christie’s doors in the spring of 1994 in a small office space with one showcase! Soon they realized their growing store needed more space, so off to a new, expanded location in “The Pink House” on the corner of Avery and Deming Streets.
In 2002, the opportunity came to build their own physical store from the ground up. So… 189 Deming Street, their current location, was born! It offered an area for a goldsmith, a beautiful contemporary showroom with plenty of showcase space, and the ability to have all the equipment and gemological tools necessary to be a custom-design destination.
Our clients appreciate the convenience our location offers.
Our knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate staff will take exceptional care of you and will take the utmost care of your jewelry. We are here to provide superb personal customer service, education, and ensure that your shopping experience with us is like no other!

Advantages of an Independent Jeweler:
Our independence is your independence! An independent jewelry store such as Christie’s Fine Jewelry benefits you, the customer, in many important ways:
- Personal Service.
At Christie’s, we truly enjoy our clients. We have long standing relationships with our clients; knowing them, their families, their jewelry needs and styles. We give each and every client the personal attention and time needed while they are here with us.
- A Better Value For Your Money.
With lower overhead and advertising costs, we can pass along those savings to give you higher quality for a lower price.
- Faster Response Time
Custom design and repair work are completed quickly and efficiently. We can do this because we have an in-house design team and an on-site jewelry repair department with a Master Goldsmith - this means a faster delivery time and better service to our clients.
- Personal Consultation From Expert Jewelers.
Unlike the large chain stores, our staff is eager to work with you as long as it takes to help you find or design exactly the right piece. And we will follow up with you to make sure you are completely satisfied.
- Reduced Risk.
As an independent jeweler, our reputation is too important to risk by selling you inferior merchandise or by marking up prices only to mark them down again as a “sale.” At Christie’s, you’ll know what you’re getting: the highest value possible.
- Support OUR Local Community.
By supporting Christie's - you strengthen our community and our local economy. Through your patronage - you our client - become a partner with us and in turn enable us to give back to our neighborhood non-profits, charitable organizations and other groups in need. Thank you!
